Welcome To River Kids
|

River Kids is a great place for your children to come and learn about God in a fun and safe environment and we want you and your children to be a part of it. Below is some information you may need being a first time visitor to our ministry.
Birth - 4 years old should be dropped off and picked up at the Early Childhood Building on the backside of the Sanctuary.
Children that are in Kindergarten or have birthdays in September, October or November of 2004 meet at Hut 2. They may check in and enjoy an age appropriate program just for them! Simone J Cannon simonej@riverpointe.org
1st - 3rd grade should be dropped off at the Big Tent and will be picked up there as well.
4th & 5th graders will be checked in and picked up in Hut I.
All children will be given a name tag, and parents will receive a security number that corresponds with that child's name tag. Children can only be picked up by someone possessing the matching number tag.

Child Dedication

Child Dedication Parent Information Class
Last Sunday of the Month | 10:45 AM
Several times a year, we pledge our support as a church family to parents working to raise their children in Christ-centered homes. We ask that all families wishing to participate in a child dedication service attend a short information class. Parent classes are held the last Sunday of the month. Contact Carol Henderson at carolh@riverpointe.org or 281-277-6767 x 109 to begin the process and get room location of meeting.

MOMS
|
|
Simply put, MOMS is a group of mothers building friendships that encourage us to grow closer to God and promote Biblical priorities in motherhood. At each meeting we will have a different speaker, fellowship time and small group time. Our small group time will be led by our Titus Moms, a group of moms with a heart to minister to younger moms based on Titus Chapter 2.

River Kids Missions - Living Water International
|
|
Living Water International is an organization that started when a group of friends traveled to Kenya and saw a crisis. A clean water crisis. People - boys and girls, moms and dads - were dying from dirty water. Out of this crisis Living Water was founded. That was in 1990. Today, over 9 million people have access to clean water because of Living Water. But, many more are in need of water… and the living water of God’s Word. Your child has the opportunity to give an offering during their own Worship Time in all our children’s ministry venues, Early Childhood & Elementary. In February 2010 River Kids was able to present a check to Living Water International for $6500.00. This money, the offering given by the children of River Pointe will go to repair two water wells damaged by the earthquake in Haiti. River Kids will continue to support the efforts of Living Water International this year. We are so pleased to teach your child about being a part of something bigger …bringing clean water and God’s Word to places that are in desperate need. Visit Living Water at www.water.cc .
How you can help your child: Talk to them about the need for everyone to know Jesus and have clean water. Invite your child to bring some money with them to church, an offering. Tell them you are proud of them for giving their money for something so important.
