MISSIONS

Teams
Jesus gave his life away and invites us to do the same. It starts with an outward focus. Have you ever considered that what you enjoy doing might be a way God wants to use you to bless the world? From reading to a child in a Title 1 school in North Richmond, to drilling a water-well in western Uganda God is already present and active and invites us to join him in his redeeming work in the world.

Are We There Yet?

attack poverty
Learn more about the non-profit that River Pointe has been very instrumental in starting to empower people to attack poverty in their lives and community.

FNR
We are committed to our friends in North Richmond for the long term because this community is ours and the need is great. We would rather do a lot in a few places than do a little in a lot of places. Locally, we intend to focus 70% of our volunteer hours in this specific area. Over the next decade we are dreaming about entire family legacies being transformed.

There is a town called Rushere in Uganda, Africa that is home to 30,000 people.  The life expectancy here is 45 years. The majority are living on less than one US dollar a day. Children are collecting dirty water in contaminated oil cans and carrying it back to their homes to be used for everything.  To-date, no non-governmental agencies have invested anything here. Rushere is a frontier of unmet need and ripe with potential for the Gospel to be shared.

We can help, details here.
