Harvey Relief Information
We will post information on how to help and volunteer here. If you would like to GIVE please click on the blue button on the left.
The aftermath of Hurricane Harvey is just now setting in. Many people have lost everything, especially the poor in our community, which has been very hard hit. It’s emotional to think about the road ahead for thousands of families. We continue to work under General Page’s leadership to help families get back on their feet. We have a great presence in Wharton Co and we’ve been all over the area helping homes.
Thank you to everyone that has, and continues to “show up” to make an impact in the lives of so many. With the help of so many of you, we have been fortunate enough to help over 230 homes and countless families in these last weeks!
How can you help?
- Cash gifts are the best way to help. You can donate to RPC’s flood relief and recovery effort. 100% of these funds will go to meeting needs in our area of people impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Nothing will be diverted from this fund for administrative or other purposes.
- Donate food and supplies. Currently RPC is not receiving donations and supplies. To donate supplies, visit the Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management website: Fort Bend County Of Emergency Management
- Volunteer. As recovery and rebuilding efforts begin there will be a need for hundreds of volunteers. We are setting up an office to receive requests for help and assist volunteer recovery teams coming into our area. Click the link below “Provide Help.”
- Pray. You can be a part of the ongoing prayer support for those in danger, those who have suffered loss, those who are displaced and all those involved in saving lives and meeting needs.
