WHAT TO EXPECT

Welcome to Kids@RPC! We want to come alongside you, as the parent, to lead our children to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Over the weekend, our children 6 weeks to 5th grade experience a great time at church with a space, activities, music and Bible stories designed just for them.

Join us this Saturday at 5:00pm and Sundays at 9:00am, 10:30am or 12:00 noon.

In addition, we offer iFit, our ministry for children and adults with Special Needs.

See you soon!

Deciding to follow Jesus is the most important decision your child will ever make. The next step for him/her is to be baptized. Please attend a Children’s Baptism Class to meet with a ministry leader about their decision. Our next Baptism date will be July 29 & 30, 2017. There are three Children’s Baptism Class dates to choose from. Thursday, July 20 @ 6:30, Saturday, July 22 @ 3:45 and Sunday, July 23 @ 12:30. Questions – email Jordan White at jordanw@rpc.me.

What Your Kids Are Learning

Early Childhood

Birth – Kindergarten

My First Look, created for children 18 months to 5 years, keeps it simple and fun, repeating one basic truth about God all month long. First Look helps children understand worship and introduces them to small group time. We even share additional tools like activity ideas and conversation starters for parents to use with their children at home. Here is some info about what your child is learning this month:

April Bottom Line: Jesus is the best.

Memory Verse: “God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son.” John 3:16 (GNT)

Early Childhood Worship Songs:
“My God is so Big”
“I Can Do What”

Elementary

1st – 5th Grade

Our program is designed to engage elementary students in a high energy and fun environment. At first, our students are engaged in activities during ‘hang out’ while they get to know some friends and their leaders. Then, we move to our large group environment where we sing great music, play games, celebrate birthdays, give an offering, and hear an interactive true story from the Bible. Finally, our students break up into groups of 10 or less with a leader to talk about how to live out their faith. See below for what your child is learning and singing this month!

April Life App: Humility – Putting others first by giving up what you think you deserve.

Memory Verse: “Don’t do anything only to get ahead. Don’t do it because you are proud. Instead, be humble. Value others more than yourself.” Philippians 2:3, (NIrV)

1st-5th Grade Worship Songs:
“Jesus You’re My Superhero”
“My Lighthouse”
