WHAT TO EXPECT

Welcome to Kids@RPC! We want to come alongside you, as the parent, to lead our children to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Over the weekend, our children 6 weeks to 5th grade experience a great time at church with a space, activities, music and Bible stories designed just for them.

Join us this Saturday at 5:00pm and Sundays at 9:00am, 10:30am or 12:00 noon.

In addition, we offer iFit, our ministry for children and adults with Special Needs.

See you soon!

At least 10 minutes prior to service, send a text message with your child’s first and last name and service time they will attend.

Parent / Child Dedication

When a family comes to a place where they decide to raise their young children to follow Jesus, we celebrate, support and pray for the family during one of our church services. Please attend a Parent /Child Dedication meeting to get on the schedule.

Baptism

Deciding to follow Jesus is the most important decision your child will ever make. The next step for him/her is to be baptized. Please attend a Children’s Baptism Class to meet with a ministry leader about their decision. Our next classes will be on March 25, 26 or March 30. Sign up for a class by clicking the button below.

What Your Kids Are Learning

Early Childhood

Birth – Kindergarten

My First Look, created for children 18 months to 5 years, keeps it simple and fun, repeating one basic truth about God all month long. First Look helps children understand worship and introduces them to small group time. We even share additional tools like activity ideas and conversation starters for parents to use with their children at home. Here is some info about what your child is learning this month:

March Bottom Line: I can love everyone.

Memory Verse: “Love one another.” John 13:34, (NIV)

Early Childhood Worship Songs:
“My God is so Big”
“I Can Do What”

(Available at amberskyrecords.com)

Elementary

1st – 5th Grade

Our program is designed to engage elementary students in a high energy and fun environment. At first, our students are engaged in activities during ‘hang out’ while they get to know some friends and their leaders. Then, we move to our large group environment where we sing great music, play games, celebrate birthdays, give an offering, and hear an interactive true story from the Bible. Finally, our students break up into groups of 10 or less with a leader to talk about how to live out their faith. See below for what your child is learning and singing this month!

March Life App: Forgiveness – deciding that someone who has wronged you doesn’t have to pay.

Memory Verse: “Put up with one another. Forgive one another if you are holding something against someone. Forgive, just as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13, (NIrV)

1st-5th Grade Worship Songs:
“Jesus You’re My Superhero”
“God is on the Move”
