The Hospital Team is comprised of volunteers who visit, encourage, and pray with River Pointe families in the hospital. Terrace Clayton is the coordinator for this ministry and would love to talk with you more if you are interested in receiving a hospital visit or volunteering for the hospital team. Email Amber Camacho for more information.

Even though we are a large church, RPC is a place where you can receive and extend care on a personal level.

We have five different teams of volunteers who show God’s love and help support others in the community.

For more information, please email Amber Camacho.

The Funeral Team comes together to help our families in times of loss. Team members help set up on the day of the service, greet funeral guests, and hand out programs. The team also assists families with receptions and any other necessary duties to help relieve their burdens. Email Amber Camacho for more information.

The meals team is made up of wonderful volunteers who make/order meals and deliver them to families who can benefit from the support and love of nourishment in the midst of a challenging time. If you would like more information about how to join this team or how to get a meal train started for someone from River Pointe who could benefit from it please email Amber Camacho for the Richmond Campus and Lisette Schnieders for the Missouri City Campus.
Our prayer team is made up of volunteers who confidentially pray for any requests that come through RPC. We have different parts of the prayer team, including email prayer team, post-church service team, and prayer meetings. The prayer meetings, which are designed for ANYONE to come to in order to be prayed for, are Wednesday mornings from 9am-12pm in the Green Room at the Richmond Campus in the main building. For additional information please email Ann Gardner at for the Richmond Campus and Lisette Schneiders for the Missouri City Campus.

The prison ministry is made up of men and women who have the desire to mentor local prisoners through small groups hosted at the prison. There will also be opportunities throughout the year for volunteers to serve at events. Email Amber Camacho for more information.
