Aid to North Carolina community of Havelock following Hurricane Florence

The Neuse River, and its tributaries, have subsided and the flood waters are receding. Many of the houses were flooded and need to be mucked.

River Pointe Church is sending aid in the form of supplies needed post-flood and a team of people to assist in any way needed. The team will depart from River Pointe Church Richmond Campus parking lot on Saturday, September 29th at 6:00am. The team will stay overnight in Montgomery, AL that night and depart the following morning at 7:00am and will arrive in Havelock Sunday evening.

The team will be directed by the local emergency relief organization in Havelock. The team will work approximately 8 hours a day Monday through Friday, and then depart for home on Saturday, October 6th.
