We celebrate believer’s baptism at River Pointe. This means anyone who has accepted Christ is invited to participate. You don’t have to be a member of River Pointe to be baptized, and you don’t have to be baptized to be a member. This is the perfect time to take the next step in your faith journey and join many others who will be baptized as well.
You can register for our next baptism and find out what scripture says about it by attending one of our baptism conversations. Sign up at appropriate link below.

What does River Pointe believe about baptism?
The Bible teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. It is not only something Jesus did, but something that He asks all believers to do. When we go under the water it pictures how our sins are buried with Christ, and as we come up it symbolizes how we can now walk in the new life God has for us through our faith in Him. You also may want to be baptized to express a renewed commitment to Christ.
Many of your questions regarding baptism are answered in our FAQ below.
